John Piser III

John Piser III serves as the Deputy Director, Planning & Preparedness, for Secure Community Network (SCN). He oversees SCN’s Training, Protective Security and Intelligence, Emergency Preparedness, and Community Protection programs and assists with incident response and recovery efforts.

He first joined SCN in 2022 as Regional Director for the Mid-Atlantic region. In this previous role, he was responsible for the direct oversight, development, and implementation of SCN’s Regional Security Advisor and Community Security Director programs for FEMA Region III. He conducted outreach, engagement, and the delivery of security consultation, threat and vulnerability assessments, training, and incident response for Jewish communities and organizations that lack direct access to community-based security professionals.
