SCN Deputy Director of Intelligence and Information Sharing Kerry Sleeper to Testify Before the House Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence on Threats Facing the Jewish Community

Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM ET

Kerry Sleeper, Deputy Director of Intelligence and Information Sharing for the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America, will testify in a hearing before the House Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence on Wednesday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. ET on the rise of anti-Israel extremist groups and the threat they pose to U.S. national security.

The hearing follows three targeted, violent antisemitic attacks in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Washington, D.C.; and Boulder, Colorado, and a surge in antisemitic incidents since the 07 October 2023 Hamas terror attacks in Israel. Lawmakers will examine the escalating national security threat, the evolving extremist landscape, and what must be done to keep Jewish communities in America safe.

Sleeper will brief Congress on the threat landscape, share intelligence SCN has collected, monitored, and tracked, and provide security strategies and actions to take to help counter and prevent future attacks.

I am grateful for the opportunity to testify about the dramatic rise in antisemitism and its significant national security implications. This threat environment has resulted in three horrific recent attacks against the Jewish community, and it is only growing. SCN continues to work closely with federal and local law enforcement to help keep the Jewish community safe and prevent future attacks. I want to thank the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence for recognizing the urgency of this issue and for taking action to make both the Jewish community and our nation more secure.

Kerry Sleeper, Deputy Director of Intelligence and Information Sharing, Secure Community Network

Prior to joining SCN, Sleeper served in the FBI for 10 years as Special Advisor to the Assistant Director of Intelligence, Deputy Assistant Director for Intelligence, and most recently Assistant Director of the Office of Partner Engagement.

Sleeper is responsible for the 24/7 operations of SCN’s Jewish Security Operations Command Center™ (JSOCC™) and the coordination of intelligence with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and other governmental and non-governmental agencies.
